Sporting Kansas City - J. Rieger Co. Partnership

J. Rieger & Co. unveiled today the Kansas City distillery’s 2022 commemorative Sporting Kansas City Whiskey Label. The limited-edition collectable bottle was designed in collaboration with Sporting Kansas City and will be available to Sporting KC Season Ticket Members during an exclusive event at the J. Rieger & Co. distillery tonight.

This is the third edition of the J. Rieger & Co. Sporting Kansas City Whiskey Label and the special release will be available to the general public, with a suggested retail price of $34.99, beginning Wednesday while supplies last at select retail stores in Kansas and Missouri, as well as at the J. Rieger & Co. distillery.

The 750 ml bottles feature J. Rieger & Co.’s signature Kansas City Whiskey, a blend of straight bourbon, straight rye and light corn whiskeys along with a hint of sherry. J. Rieger & Co. has also partnered with Sporting to offer select Rieger cocktails in premium spaces at Children’s Mercy Park, including at the J. Rieger & Co. bar in the Wise Power Shield Club on the west side of the stadium.

Founded in 1887 in Kansas City’s West Bottoms Livestock Exchange district, J. Rieger and Co. is now located in the historic Electric Park district of East Bottoms with distribution in 23 states across the country. Sporting teamed up with J. Rieger and Co. for a spirited partnership that kicked off in 2019 with specialty bottlings, cocktails and events to celebrate a shared love of Kansas City.
