Sporting Kansas City's 2022 home schedule - announced on Wednesday by Major League Soccer - will be highlighted by several of the club's highly-anticipated annual theme matches for fans at Children's Mercy Park.
Season tickets for Sporting's 2022 campaign are available, as well as the following ticket packages and promotions:
- Home Opener Pack: Tickets to home opener on March 5 plus two more home matches of the buyer's choice
- Marquee Match Pack: Tickets to see SKC play LAFC (July 23), LA Galaxy (Aug. 6), Portland (Aug. 21) and Seattle (Oct. 2)
- Captain's Flex Pack: Eight ticket vouchers redeemable for any home match(es) during the 2022 season
- Summer of Sporting Pack and No Mercy Pack: Launching this Friday at SportingKC.com/tickets/packages-promos
In conjunction with the schedule release today, Sporting has also launched a My Five ticket contest presented by Hollywood Casino for fans to select the five home matches they are most excited to attend in 2022 and be entered to win tickets for those five matches. May 28 vs. Vancouver: Sporting Sustainability
As communities continue to build for a brighter future, environmental sustainability has become more important than ever. Sporting Sustainability aims to raise awareness around the impact of food waste prevention, including greenhouse gas emissions and agricultural land use. June 12 vs. New England: Soccer For All
Sporting Kansas City and The Victory Project have pledged to make the sport of soccer more accessible to children with limited financial resources. That mission includes working with partners, non-profits, schools and fans to bring soccer programs to kids who have not had these opportunities before. This nationally-televised match on ABC against the reigning Supporters' Shield champions also comes during Pride Month and will bring the all-important Soccer For All initiative further to the forefront.
July 3 vs. New York Red Bulls: Americana
Sporting will get the Fourth of July festivities started on the eve of Independence Day with an Americana-themed matchday at Children's Mercy Park highlighted by a postmatch fireworks show for supporters and the team's popular pre-match training tops inspired by the stars and stripes. The match kicks off a busy month of July for Sporting with six regular season matches, most of any month.
August 6 vs. LA Galaxy: Sporting Salutes
Sporting Kansas City will honor the service and sacrifice of military service members and their families when the club hosts the fifth annual Sporting Salutes at Children’s Mercy Park. The initiative is held in partnership with military units from Kansas and Missouri and includes on-field recognition of servicemen and women, in addition to a variety of limited-edition merchandise for fans.
September 17 vs. Minnesota: Kick Childhood Cancer
During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Sporting Kansas City will join a League-wide effort to Kick Childhood Cancer. The Victory Project will once again take center stage by honoring kids who are battling cancer and providing opportunities for fans to support the cause through a variety of initiatives with proceeds going toward the fight against cancer.
October 2 vs. Seattle: Fan Appreciation
In the final home match of the regular season, Sporting Kansas City will host the club's annual Fan Appreciation match to thank supporters for providing an incredible home field advantage at Children’s Mercy Park. In addition to a slew of unique perks, fans will be treated to a marquee match-up between two of Western Conference's top teams over the past several seasons with a national television audience watching on FS1.

Retro Night celebrates the club's rich history and heritage since the inaugural 1996 season. Retro Night festivities will feature vintage Kansas City merchandise via SportingStyle and a throwback in-stadium experience that turns back the clock for supporters.
