With March Madness underway, we caught up with Sporting Kansas City and Swope Park Rangers players to get their Final Four picks for the upcoming NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
While KU was an almost ubiquitous choice for the Final Four, Connor Hallisey broke the mold with his prediction that California, rather than Kansas, would make it all the way to the National Championship. Every other player forecasted Kansas hurdling its way to the final game of the tournament. Four of the players predicted KU would go all the way to be crowned champions.
North Carolina, Oklahoma and Michigan State were also popular picks for the Final Four among the group, with each earning five of the seven player Final Four picks. Meanwhile, Jacob Peterson stayed loyal to his alma mater, picking the Hoosiers to ultimately beat out Kansas to win the National Championship.
