Academy's Cameron Duke starts twice for United States Under-14 Boys' National Team

Sporting KC Academy U14 Cameron Duke

Sporting Kansas City Academy U-14 defender Cameron Duke started two games for the United States Under-14 Boys' National Team during their training camp in Zagreb, Croatia from May 7-17. The Olathe, Kansas native started in a 3-1 victory over Croatia (video highlights above) on May 11 and was again in the first 11 in a 1-1 draw against Serbia on May 15 (video highlights here).

One of 20 players on head coach Brian Johnson's roster, Duke has been a part of all four U.S. U-14 BNT camps to date in 2015 and has helped the squad to a 4-1-1 record this year. He debuted with the United States U-14's last October and also represented his country at the under-15 level in March.
Duke now re-joins the Sporting KC Academy U-14's ahead of their participation in Kansas State Cup, to be played from May 26 through June 4 at the Overland Park Soccer Complex. The competition features the top teams from across the state and is the first step in qualifying for US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships and the US Youth Soccer National Championships.
