Sporting KC and food and beverage partner KC American Sportservice this week unveiled a first-class concessions menu for the 2013 AT&T MLS All-Star Game at Sporting Park on July 31. Fans are invited to dine on unique foods -- rarely offered at a sporting venue --including a few specialty items created exclusively for the match-up.
For the first time, Lobster Tails, Beef Carpaccio, Oysters Rockefeller and Champagne will be carried down the aisles in the stands as an in-seat service by vendors in black-tie attire. The offer is valid while supplies last.
Other concession headliners from Executive Chef Wade Taylor include:
Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Chicken Sandwich -- a spicy, red Cheetos encrusted Chicken breast served on a roll, topped with onions, tomato, lettuce. Sold exclusively at Sporting Park!
Fried Mac and Cheese – mac’n cheese balls deep-fried with a cool ranch dressing in the all new “The Tap” stand which features a lineup of unique beers on tap.
Sporting Blue Cheese Bacon -- already a team office favorite, your choice of jalapeno or applewood smoked bacon topped with bleu cheese crumbles and sprinkled with chives.
The Smoke House BBQ stand will also be dressing up for the AT&T MLS All-Star Game with a new look and taste including the Smoked Tequila Blackberry Beef Brisket and the new Brisket and Sausage Combo served with coleslaw, baked beans and Texas toast.
For the more traditional fans, look for the pizza stand with a new nine-inch hand-tossed, homemade crust and sauce pie -- baked with a unique cheese blend. Toppings include cheese, pepperoni and a new Buffalo Chicken. The stand will also offer lobster mac’n cheese and a hand-tossed Italian salad.
