Best sports team and best sports bar in Kansas City? Those two distinctions belong to Sporting Kansas City and No Other Pub, according to more than 337,000 online votes cast in The Pitch's annual Best of Kansas City readers' poll.
The results, released this week in the "Best of Kansas City 2018" issue, will be published at ThePitchKC.com tonight following the
Best of KC Party 2018
at Madrid Theatre to celebrate award winners throughout arts/entertainment, food/drink, goods/services, health/fitness, people/places, shopping and sports.
In addition to the accolades for Sporting Kansas City and No Other Pub, several Sporting Kansas City corporate and community partners were also recognized in this year's series. Children's Mercy was voted best hospital and Farm to Market Bread Co. was named best bakery, while Nebraska Furniture Mart claimed the top spot in three separate categories (best appliance store, best flooring/carpet store, best mattress store).
