Sporting KC earned a 1-0 victory against the Seattle Sounders FC in the first match of the 2016 season on Sunday evening. Three points on the road is no easy task, especially not at the fortress that is CenturyLink Field, but newcomer Nuno Andre Coelho made it look that way with his long range game-winner.
The Sporting KC #roaddron was on point, as always, despite being stuck in the highest upper seating section the stadium had to offer. Meanwhile, back in Kansas City, No Other Pub was filled to capacity as fans piled into Sporting KC's new bar in the Kansas City Power and Light District.
The pub was already buzzing hours prior to kickoff, but the night got off to an especially great start when supporters were greeted by a message from MLS veteran Brad Davis: First round on me.
