BS The Podcast dropped its final episode of 2019 on Wednesday as Benny Feilhaber and Sal Zizzo welcomed former MLS veteran Mike Magee.
Magee, who earned 2013 MLS MVP honors, enjoyed a 14-year MLS career that yielded consecutive MLS Cup with the LA Galaxy in 2011 and 2012. He joined the Galaxy in 2009 after spending his first six seasons with the New York Red Bulls, then moved to the Chicago Fire midway through 2013 before spending his last campaign back in LA in 2016.
In the 2019 season finale, Magee joined the gang to talk about his breakout under former Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena, his midseason trade to Chicago during a standout 2013 campaign, and the next steps he plans to take in his soccer career.
The episode also featured guest appearances from retired MLS winger Mike Grella and Orlando City SC midfielder Sacha Kljestan, who injected the discussion with plenty of banter to go around.
