Sporting Kansas City and Sporting Club Special Events, in conjunction with Brooks Reynolds of Blue Ribbon Bacon Fest, announced today a one-of-a-kind bacon festival coming to Kansas City on Saturday, October 8 at Children’s Mercy Park.
The first-ever BaKCon Fest will be held inside the world-class home of Sporting Kansas City. The festival will feature samples of bacon and bacon-themed menu items, as well as a bacon eating contest, beer garden, live entertainment, children's play area and much more.
Tickets are on sale online at SeatGeek.com with three experiences (basic, pro and premium) available in addition to a BaKCon Brews add on option for attendees. Early premium access to the event will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 8 followed by entry for all ticket holders beginning at 11 a.m.
