In what is believed to be an MLS first, Sporting Kansas City forward Daniel Salloi is the first player in the league to have a snowplow named after him as the City of Olathe’s latest snowplow "Daniel Plowloi" joins an esteemed fleet on the streets of Olathe this winter. Other named snowplows iin the municipality include fan favorites like "Travis Kelsleet," "Taylor Drift" and "Isaiah Plowcheco" among many others.
“The City of Olathe already has a championship lineup of snowplows serving the community, so it only made sense to add a plow named after an MLS All-Star and former league MVP finalist to our crew,” said City Manager Michael Wilkes. "We're excited to see 'Daniel Plowloi' delighting residents on the streets of Olathe the way Daniel Salloi delights Sporting KC fans on the field."
