Sporting Kansas City Homegrown forward Daniel Salloi will return to Kansas City on a winning note after the Hungary Men's National Team earned a 2-1 win over Greece in Tuesday's UEFA Nations League clash at Groupama Arena in Budapest, Hungary.
Salloi was an unused substitute in Hungary's opening two matches of the inaugural UEFA Nations League during the September international window. He will now return to Kansas City ahead of Sporting KC's road match against the San Jose Earthquakes, set for 9:30 p.m. CT Saturday at Avaya Stadium. The contest will air live on FOX Sports Kansas City, FOX Sports Midwest Plus and FOX Sports GO.
A 22-year-old product of the Sporting KC Academy, Salloi leads MLS homegrown players with 16 combined goals (nine) and assists (seven) in all competitions this season.
