MLSsoccer.com announced on Wednesday that voting has opened for the 2015 AT&T Goal of the Year. Unlike past years, this year’s competition features a March Madness-style bracket competition broken down by regions. Sporting Kansas City goals are in the Midwest Region along with goals from the Philadelphia Union, Chicago Fire, Columbus Crew and Montreal Impact.

Five Sporting Kansas City goals are in the competition that starts today and runs through December 2. The Goal of the Week winner will be announced on December 3. Each of Sporting Kansas City's nominees won their respective MLS Goal of the Week competitions.
- No. 1 - Benny Feilhaber’s game-tying goal against the Houston Dynamo in Week 8
- No. 3 - Dom Dwyer’s chest-trap, spin and finish against the New England Revolution in Week 12
- No. 4 - Krisztian Nemeth’s dazzling run against the Portland Timbers in Week 31
- No. 6 - Benny Feilhaber’s long-distance strike against Real Salt Lake in Week 21
- No. 12 - Kristin Nemeth’s top-shelf finish against Orlando City in Week 28
Voting for the Midwest and West Regions opened today and runs through November 1. The East and South Regions will be open from Nov. 2 - Nov. 6 with the second round kicking off November 9.
