On Monday, the soccer world got a new child as former Sporting KC forward Jacob Peterson and his wife Lauren welcomed Keslyn Jude Peterson at 7 pounds 8 ounces and 20.5 inches.
It was the perfect gift for Peterson who is celebrating his 31st birthday today. The veteran forward played the past five seasons with Sporting KC before signing a free agent contract this past offseason with expansion club Atlanta United.
