In front of the 89th consecutive MLS sellout at Children's Mercy Park, Sporting Kansas City defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 on Saturday. Benny Feilhaber opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a beautiful strike that is a nominee for MLS Goal of the Week. David Bingham's misplay on a Soony Saad effort sealed the match late.
