A Kansas City native, Wahl is a New York Times best-selling author whose coverage of the sport is available at GrantWahl.com and the Futbol with Grant Wahl podcast. Wahl has covered the United States Men's National Team on their road to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and will be in Kansas City this Sunday as the USMNT plays Uruguay at Children's Mercy Park. In addition, Wahl has reported on the bid process for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in advance of FIFA's major announcement on June 16.
