Sporting Kansas City will face USL Championship side Sacramento Republic FC at Heart Health Park in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Semifinals Wednesday night at 9:30 p.m. CT. Their visit to the Golden State Capital city marks the first road match at a lower-division team since 2016 when Sporting bested then NASL-based Minnesota United in the Round of 32.
The semifinal showdown will be available to stream with an ESPN+ subscription. The official Sporting KC watch party will take place at No Other Pub starting at 9 p.m. CT with food and drink specials available.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Sporting Kansas City and Sacramento Republic FC, however, Sporting KC II has faced them on seven occasions. Current Sporting KC players Daniel Salloi and Felipe Hernandez have earned minutes against Sacramento at Heart Health Park as members of SKC II, then the Swope Park Rangers.
Sporting will return to Children's Mercy Park for a Major League Soccer matchup against Austin FC on Saturday. Kickoff for the Western Conference clash is set for 7:30 p.m. CT on 38 The Spot and tickets are on sale now at SeatGeek.com.
