Sporting Kansas City opens the MLS regular season on the road for a fourth straight year Sunday afternoon with a visit to Atlanta United FC and Mercedes-Benz Stadium as MLS is back in 2022.
The first match of the 2022 season is slated to kick off at 2:00 p.m. CT (2:05 p.m. actual kick) with national television coverage on FS1 and FOX Deportes and live streaming via the FOX Sports app and at foxsports.com.
Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM will carry the match on the radio, with a special two-hour pregame show live from the Stateline Block Party starting two hours before kick. Tune into 810 as well for The Final Whistle postgame show immediately following the conclusion of the match. Additionally, supporters are invited to attend any of the club’s official Pub Partners which will show every Sporting Kansas City match this season.
Fans have never before seen access to Sporting’s match broadcasts this season with the team announcing 38 the Spot as the official broadcast partner last week. Sunday’s match is not one of the 26 local broadcasts this season as it is a national broadcast on FS1 and FOX Deportes.
