Sporting Kansas City will welcome Houston Dynamo FC to Children’s Mercy Park on Saturday, March 5 for the club’s home opener of the 2022 MLS regular season.
The first home match of the 2022 season is slated to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT (2:50 p.m. actual kick) with national television coverage on Univision and TUDN. Also, for the first time this season, the match will be broadcasted locally on 38 The Spot, Sporting’s new broadcast partners for the 2022 season. The match will be live-streamed on Twitter as well.
Sports Radio 810 WHB, SiriusXM FC and La Grande 1340 AM will carry the match on the radio. Tune into ESPN 94.5 as well for The Final Whistle post match show immediately following the conclusion of the match.

Fans will have never before seen access to Sporting KC’s broadcast in 2022 thanks to the club’s partnership with 38 The Spot. Saturday’s match on 38 The Spot will mark the debut of TRACAB technology in MLS as Sporting has partnered with the industry leader to offer advanced match analytics to fans.
