Sporting Kansas City will face USL League One side Union Omaha at Children's Mercy Park in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Quarterfinals Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. CT. This will mark the first time Sporting has played a lower-division team since 2016, and the first time hosting one since 2015.
Tickets are on sale at SeatGeek.com for the cup quarterfinal clash, as both teams fight it out for a spot in the semifinals.
The match will be available to stream via an ESPN+ subscription and can be found over the radio on 810 WHB in English and on La Grande 1340 in Spanish. Fans can also listen to the match in the Sporting KC Mobile App.
Wednesday will be the first-ever meeting between Sporting KC and Union Omaha, with the visitors making their Open Cup debut in their third season of play. Sporting will resume their MLS regular season campaign on Saturday with a road match against the Seattle Sounders at 2 p.m. CT on ABC.
