Injury Report is SportingKC.com’s look at the latest injury news ahead of upcoming matches and is presented by The Sports Medicine Center at Children's Mercy. All injuries listed are from the teams' official injury reports submitted prior to matchday.

It’s one player removed and one player added for Sporting Kansas City as the side’s injury issues continue ahead of tonight’s match against the Vancouver Whitecaps at Children’s Mercy Park. Ten players remain on the injury report with eight out and two questionable.

The good news is that captain Matt Besler (hamstring) is off the injury report altogether, while midfielder Jimmy Medranda – who has not played in a year – is upgraded to questionable as he steps up his rehab from knee surgery.

On the flipside, Daniel Salloi is added to the injury report as questionable with a groin injury. He joins a cast of Roger Espinoza (PCL), Gerso Fernandes (wrist), Andreu Fontas (calf), Erik Hurtado (knee), Jaylin Lindsey (meniscus), Rodney Wallace (hip), Wan Kuzain (ankle) and Graham Zusi (oblique), who are all out.

On Friday, Sporting KC signed Rangers forward Wilson Harris to a short-term agreement, as the club was eligible for Extreme Hardship – which exists when a club has less than 14 outfield players available or has fewer than two goalkeepers available.

Vancouver arrives in Kansas City with a few injury concerns of their own, as Michael Baldisimo (ankle), Lass Bangoura (hamstring), Jon Erice (ankle), Jasser Khmiri (meniscus), David Norman (metatarsal) and Yordy Reyna (hamstring) will all miss the match through injury.

Tonight’s clash will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus, while Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and ESPN Deportes 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game locally on the radio. Tickets are available via SeatGeek.com.
