Sporting Kansas City’s injury list has swelled slightly once again as the club has eight players on the club’s official injury report heading into tonight’s clash with rivals Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium.
Graham Zusi (adductor) is questionable, while Gianluca Busio (concussion), Jimmy Medranda (hamstring) and Johnny Russell (hamstring) are all out. They’re joined by Roger Espinoza (PCL), Erik Hurtado (knee), Jaylin Lindsey (meniscus) and Rodney Wallace (hip), who all remain out with longer-term injuries.
RSL, by contrast, has just two players on their injury report as defender Tony Beltran is doubtful with a knee injury, while midfielder Jordan Allen remains out with a season-ending knee injury.
Kickoff for this tonight’s match is set for 9 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Kansas City, while Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and ESPN Deportes 1480 AM (Spanish) will carry the game locally on the radio.
