Sporting Kansas City enters the knockout stage of the MLS is Back Tournament tonight when the side takes on Vancouver Whitecaps FC at ESPN Wide World of Sports.


Sporting’s injury report remains light, with only Andreu Fontas (quad) and Felipe Gutierrez (knee surgery) out for the game through injury.


Vancouver is in the midst of a goalkeeper crisis as starter Maxime Crepeau is out with a fractured thumb, and back-up Bryan Meredith returned to Vancouver for personal reasons. Third-string goalkeeper – 21-year-old Homegrown Thomas Hasal – made his MLS debut in the final group stage game against Chicago.


In addition, Jasser Khmiri (knee injury) and David Milinkovic (hamstring strain) are questionable, while Janio Bikel (adductor strain) and Erik Godoy (quad strain) are out.


Kickoff for tonight’s game is set for 10 p.m. CT – marking the latest game in Sporting KC’s 25-year history. The match will air on FS1, FOX Deportes and TUDN.
