Sporting Kansas City heads into this afternoon’s clash with Seattle Sounders FC at Children’s Mercy Park with 11 players on the injury report, though six are now regarded as questionable.
Sporting received a welcome boost on Sunday afternoon when Jimmy Medranda made his return after just over a year out with a knee injury, and he’s finally removed entirely from the injury report.
Matt Besler (hamstring), Andreu Fontas (calf), Daniel Salloi (groin), Wan Kuzain (ankle) and Graham Zusi (oblique) are all questionable, as is Krisztian Nemeth (calf) who will miss out regardless due to suspension. Roger Espinoza (PCL), Gerso Fernandes (wrist), Erik Hurtado (knee), Jaylin Lindsey (meniscus) and Rodney Wallace (hip) all remain out.
The Galaxy will be missing just one player, as star winger Romain Alessandrini is out with a meniscus injury.
