Major League Soccer announced today the top 25 selling jerseys for the 2023 season - based on overall retail sales on MLSstore.com during the first four months of the year - with Sporting Kansas City captain Johnny Russell among the most popular purchases for the fourth year in a row.

Russell joined Sporting in 2018 in a transfer from English club Derby County FC and now ranks third in club history in both regular season goals (50) and goals across all competitions (55). The Scottish winger was named club captain ahead of the 2021 season and has received numerous team awards, including Offensive Player of the Year (2018, 2019, 2021), Most Valuable Player (2020, 2022), Golden Boot (2020, 2022), Humanitarian of the Year (2022) and Goal of the Year (2021).
Sporting Kansas City will host the Portland Timbers at 2:25 p.m. CT on Sunday at Children's Mercy Park live on FOX, FOX Deportes and Apple TV.
