Facing their toughest World Cup opponent yet, the United States Women's National Team didn't disappoint.

Neither did Kansas City.

Zealous fans flocked to the Kansas City Live! Block in the Kansas City Power & Light District on Friday, cheering the U.S. WNT to a 2-1 victory over hosts France in the Women's World Cup quarterfinals.

The momentous win means Kansas City soccer supporters will have the opportunity to gather once more on Tuesday when the Americans battle England in the semifinals at 2 p.m. CT. The KC Live! Block will again serve as the can't miss watch party destination as the U.S. WNT pursue their second straight World Cup title and their fourth overall.

Below are some of the biggest moments to emerge from Friday's electric watch party, which offered a prompt reminder that Kansas City is plenty ready to welcome the world's biggest sporting event and become an official Host City for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
