A new edition of the Sporting KC Show aired on Sports Radio 810 WHB on Tuesday as hosts Aly Trost Martin and Nate Bukaty attended Media Day at Children's Mercy Park for interviews with President/CEO Jake Reid and forward Willy Agada, as well as defenders Andreu Fontas and Chris Rindov ahead of Saturday night's home opener against the LA Galaxy.

Both charter members of Major League Soccer, Sporting Kansas City (350 wins) and the LA Galaxy (377 wins) are the two winningest teams in the Western Conference all-time. The regular season series is deadlocked (26-26-16) after 68 all-time head-to-head match-ups, however Sporting is unbeaten in the last four meetings including a 4-2 win at Children’s Mercy Park last August that sparked a streak of six straight home wins to end the 2022 campaign.
