Sporting Kansas City's Cinderella run has a fairytale ending.
Thanks to a brilliant showing from SKC Nation, the club has stamped its name on March Madness by rolling through USA Today's ultimate sports uniform bracket. With a championship victory over the Boston Bruins, Sporting Kansas City claims the title of best uniform in sports.
Originlly seeded No. 14 in the Midwest region, Sporting Kansas City ousted six big-name brands en route to the title. Only two Major League Soccer clubs made the 64-team field, as Seattle Sounders FC fell in the first round.
- First round: defeated Notre Dame Football with 65.6% of the vote
- Second round: defeated the Chicago Cubs with 67.2% of the vote
- Sweet 16: defeated the Detroit Red Wings with 74.2% of the vote
- Elite Eight: defeated Michigan Football with 83.2% of the vote
- Final Four: defeated Oregon Football with 79.5% of the vote
- Championship: defeated the Boston Bruins with 74.2% of the vote
