Sporting Kansas City fan favorite Ilie Sanchez isn't a center back by trade, but he has certainly looked the part in two recent wins over Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the San Jose Earthquakes.
Ilie, an FC Barcelona academy product who has been an ever-present midfield fixture since joining Sporting in 2017, was the featured guest this week on a new episode of No Other Pod, a podcast hosted by Jimmy Mack and Daniel Kooser.
