No Other Pub to host Sporting KC Fan Forum on May 1 with Jake Reid, Matt Besler, Johnny Russell and Daniel Salloi

Sporting KC Fan Forum 2018 - 3 Across DL - No Other Pub

Sporting Kansas City CEO & President Jake Reid, captain Matt Besler, winger Johnny Russell and homegrown forward Daniel Salloi will participate in a Fan Forum on Tuesday, May 1 at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power & Light District, giving supporters of all ages the opportunity to interact first-hand with club representatives.

Hosted by Sporting KC broadcast duo Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine, the Fan Forum will see Reid, Besler, Russell and Salloi answer questions and engage with fans in attendance, making for an interactive and open-ended conversation. Reid will speak first, followed by the three Sporting KC players in a talk show format.

The Fan Forum will begin at 6 p.m. CT inside No Other Pub, and attendance is free for a limited number of fans who RSVP at SportingKC.com/forum. Due to seating capacity within No Other Pub, every individual wishing to attend the Fan Forum must RSVP separately by providing the required information.

The Fan Forum will include giveaways for Sporting KC tickets and autographed apparel as well as No Other Pub specials, consisting of $1 tacos, $2 off appetizers, $3 Bud Light drafts and $4 Till Vodka cocktails. No Other Pub will also offer guests free gaming throughout the night, including bowling, golf simulators, table tennis, shuffleboard, arcade games and more.

Besler, Russell and Salloi have each experienced different career paths as current members of Sporting KC, making this year’s Fan Forum an avenue for compelling anecdotes and unique perspectives.

Besler, a 31-year-old World Cup veteran for the U.S. Men’s National Team, has played for his hometown club since joining Sporting KC out of the 2009 MLS SuperDraft. Russell, a 28-year-old Scottish international, competed for over a decade in Scotland and England before arriving in Kansas City in February. The 21-year-old Salloi grew up in Hungary, joined the Sporting KC Academy as a teenager and signed as a Homegrown Player in 2016.
