Boosted by a three-match winning streak, Sporting Kansas City crosses the Canadian border to visit the Vancouver Whitecaps FC at 9:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday at BC Place.

The mid-week match will be broadcast live on Apple TV for MLS Season Pass subscribers. In addition, radio coverage will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM -- with live streams available in the Sporting KC App -- as well as Channel 167 on SiriusXM.

Pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network will also show all of the action, including a watch party in The Atrium at J. Rieger & Co (2700 Guinotte Ave.) in Kansas City, Mo. The event -- which will feature a live DJ and happy hour pricing on drinks from 8:30 p.m. CT until final whistle -- will be the first chance for fans to purchase the club's new third jersey and adidas Originals jacket as well as the new Oh When the Wiz bourbon bottles.

Sporting Kansas City will debut the team's highly anticipated third kits on Wednesday -- wearing a Wizards logo onto the field for the first time since the club's rebrand in 2010 -- in a match-up between two teams currently in their best form of the season amidst congested schedules.

Sporting won three matches in a seven-day span for the first time in club history last week and is coming off a 2-1 victory at the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday in which Erik Thommy and Alan Pulido scored their fifth goals of the season across all competitions. Pulido enters VANvSKC with five goals in five regular season appearances against the Whitecaps, the most by any player on either team in the all-time series.

Also in the attack, Sporting KC winger Daniel Salloi is poised for a milestone match on Wednesday as the Designated Player is on the cusp of his 200th regular season appearance. Salloi has 81 goal contributions (46 goals, 35 assists) in his regular season career - fifth most in club history -- and he will become the first Sporting KC Academy product to play in 200 regular season matches for the club.

On the opposite side, Vancouver is riding a five-game unbeaten streak (4-0-1) and returns home after a four-match road trip that culminated with a 4-1 dismantling of St. Louis CITY SC on Saturday. Brian White scored twice as the U.S. Men's National Team forward has found the back of the net in his last four MLS matches -- tallying seven total goals in the four-game span -- to move up to fourth in the MLS Golden Boot race with a dozen goals on the season.

Club captain Ryan Gauld -- a teammate of Sporting's Scottish skipper Johnny Russell more than a decade ago at Dundee United from 2012-2013 -- tallied two assists in the victory; The MLS All-Star midfielder now has 18 goal contributions (nine goals, nine assists) in his last 19 MLS appearances, including a brace in Vancouver's 2-1 win over Sporting Kansas City on May 29 at Children's Mercy Park.

Led by head coach Vanni Sartini, Vancouver's roster also features former Sporting KC outside back Luis Martins (2019-21) as well as two midfielders who featured in Copa America 2024 in Designated Player Andres Cubas (Paraguay) and 23-year--old Ali Ahmed (Canada).

Sporting Kansas City is unbeaten in three consecutive trips to Canada in the past three seasons: earning a 2-1 win at Montreal in July 2022, a 1-1 draw at Vancouver in June 2023 and a 3-1 victory at Toronto in March 2024. The Whitecaps, currently in pursuit of a third straight Canadian Championship title, will welcome Sporting to BC Place, which was the site of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup Final and will host seven matches during FIFA World Cup 2026.
