The fifth round of CONCACAF's World Cup qualifying campaign begins on Friday. Each team will play every other team once (home and away) for a total of ten matches each. The top three teams will automatically qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The fourth-place team will advance to a two-game playoff against the Asian Football Confederation's fifth place team.
Three Sporting KC players will be in action this week with Matt Besler and Graham Zusi representing the U.S. MNT and Roger Espinoza representing Honduras. All matches will be televised and can be seen live at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power and Light District. Below is a schedule of matches we'll be watching for the first round of the Hex:
