It brought the crowd to their feet as they offered a thunderous roar of approval. Dom Dwyer's wonder-goal in the fifth minute of Saturday's match is one that won't soon be forgotten by the 20,000+ fans that were at Children's Mercy Park. According to ESPN's Paul Carr, the goal was Dwyer's longest of his professional career and only his third strike from beyond 18 yards.
So it's no surprise that when SportsCenter put together their nightly list of the top 10 plays of the day, Dwyer's goal was high on the list.
