Three of the top four seeds in the 2014 Big 12 Soccer Championship were eliminated on Wednesday as the postseason tournament began with a day of upsets at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Missouri. Top-seeded West Virginia prevailed 2-1 over TCU in the opener to extend their unbeaten streak to 16 games, however No. 2 Oklahoma State, No. 3 Kansas and No. 4 Texas Tech all failed to advance to the semifinal round.

The semifinals will kick off at 5:30 p.m. CT on Friday with the opening game of the doubleheader featuring West Virginia and Texas. The second semifinal will then be played between Baylor and Oklahoma at 8 p.m. CT. Tickets are available for $9 -- which covers entry to both games -- and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com or at the gates on Friday.
Friday's winners will meet in the championship match at 3:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, live on FOX Sports 1. The winner of the Big 12 Soccer Championship will earn an automatic berth into the 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship. The 64-team field will be announced at 3:30 p.m. CT on Monday during a selection show that will be streamed live on NCAA.com.
