Sporting’s final two home matches feature opponents they will have multiple three times previously this season—Oct. 24 against Colorado and Nov. 1 against Minnesota. The Rapids are Sporting’s most frequent foe in club history, as the teams have squared off 80 times since MLS’s maiden 1996 campaign. Minnesota, meanwhile, are 0-6-0 at Children’s Mercy Park in all competitions with one goal scored and 15 conceded.
Third-place Sporting Kansas City (6-5-2, 20 points) will return to the pitch Saturday when they visit rivals Houston Dynamo (3-4-7, 16 points) at BBVA Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT with three hours of live coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT on FOX Sports Kansas City, FOX Sports Midwest and FOX Sports GO. The Western Conference clash will also air live locally on ESPN 94.5 FM and La Grande 1340 AM, with The Final Whistle immediately following on 94.5 FM.
