The Centers of Excellence with Sporting Kansas City provides supplemental training for boys aged eleven and younger.
Players in the Centers of Excellence receive high level training directly from Sporting Kansas City Coaches. Fall & Spring trainings are located at Swope Soccer Village, the home of Sporting Kansas City Academy. Each player also receives a Sporting Kansas City COE training kit. Participation in the SKC Centers of Excellence are supplemental to all activities with the current club team as the SKC COE is a club-neutral program.
The Centers of Excellence consist of Boy's U11 & U9 age groups and three seasonal sessions; Fall (beginning in September), Winter (January) & Spring (March). Each sessions costs $340 which includes a training kit and twenty-four training sessions in the Sporting Kansas City Academy training environment. Trainings are held on Sunday and players have the option of training on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
The inaugural Spring 2016 Centers of Excellence will feature an evaluation camp on February 27 & 28, 2016 at Swope Soccer Village.

On Saturday 2/27, the evaluation camps will be at 2pm for U9 and 3:45pm for U11. On Sunday 2/28, the evaluation camps will be at 11:45am for U11 and 1:30pm for U9. All registered players will attend both sessions. Limited space is available and there is no cost to attend. To participate in the evaluation camps, players registered with KSYSA clubs must have a KSYSA Release Form filled out by their respective coach or manager. The KSYSA Release Form may be found HERE.
For the Spring 2016 session, U11 boys will consist of players born in 2004 and younger while the U9 boys will consist of players born in 2006 and younger.
