Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Jack Kortkamp recorded a shutout in the United States Under-17 Men's National Team's 2-0 victory over Cuba on Saturday at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

With the result, the United States qualified for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup as first place finishers in Group F at the 2025 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers.

The United States will play in the U-17 World Cup for a 19th time -- most of any team -- when the newly expanded 48-team tournament is held from Nov. 5-27 in Qatar.

A product of the SKC Academy, Kortkamp signed with Sporting KC as a Homegrown Player in December to become the youngest active goalkeeper in Major League Soccer. The 17-year-old appeared in three preseason matches in January before joining the U.S. U-17 Men's National Team for the 2025 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers.
