World Cup fever is back, Kansas City! Sporting Club Network and FC Kansas City have teamed up to create an exciting social media contest to celebrate the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. We have some awesome prizes up for grabs, including chances to win Sporting KC and FCKC tickets.
Here’s how it works: similar to last year’s Sporting Club Network #ForClubAndCountry contest, any soccer fan who posts a picture of themselves on Facebook or Twitter wearing Sporting KC, Sporting Club Network, FC Kansas City or U.S. Soccer attire WHILE watching any Women’s World Cup games will be entered into our contest. It’s that simple!
Contest rules:
- Must be following @SportingKCSCN and @FCKansasCity on Twitter or “Like” their pages on Facebook
- Must tag @SportingKCSCN and @FCKansasCity in the tweet or post the picture on the respective Facebook page
- Picture must be of a soccer fan wearing Sporting KC, Sporting Club Network, FC Kansas City or U.S. Soccer attire.
We will be picking one winner with the most creative picture after each U.S. Women’s National Team group stage game and we will announce the grand prize winner after the World Cup final – producing four winners in total.
Contest prizes:
- First three winners will win either FCKC tickets, a signed FCKC t-shirt or a FCKC 2014 NWSL champions scarf
- Grand Prize: This lucky winner will receive a signed away jersey by FCKC team, four tickets to the Sporting KC vs. Montreal Impact match on July 18 AND a #ForClubAndCountry scarf
Additionally, FC Kansas City and Sporting Club Network are co-hosting an all-girls Mini Clinic on June 23, the 43rd anniversary of Title IX. Several Sporting KC and FCKC players will be in attendance and registration is free. More details on registration can be found on here.
