Sporting Club Special Events announced today the return of Adult Field Day on Saturday, August 13 at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan.
The event, a throwback to the longstanding tradition of grade school field days, was first held in 2021 and will once again feature teams of 8-10 individuals – including at least three women – competing at multiple stations around the stadium, highlighted by an event on the pitch to provide participants with access to the world-class playing surface where Sporting Kansas City and the KC Current play.
Event check-in will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 13 and teams will rotate through the stations to accumulate points for their team. The team with the highest point total at the end of all eight events will be crowned Adult Field Day champions and prizes will also be awarded for the runners-up, the third place finishers and the best team costumes at an awards ceremony immediately following the conclusion of the competition.
Registration for Adult Field Day is available online at SeatGeek.com. Only one ticket is required per team and, in addition to participation in the competition, the $400 entry fee also provides each team member with a commemorative koozie, admission to the awards ceremony and a $10 Sporting Pay credit redeemable on concessions or retail items at Children’s Mercy Park.
