The official mobile app of Sporting Kansas City will roll out a brand-new, interactive feature when the team squares off against first-place Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday.
Sporting Club Uphoria introduces MySKC Cam, a camera within the app that allows users to capture their favorite match day moments, add Sporting Kansas City-themed overlays and instantly share photos on a variety of social networks including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Uphoria users can also store MySKC Cam photos to their smartphones or send them to Sporting Kansas City, with select entries being displayed on the Sporting Park videoboard throughout the game. MySKC Cam will be available on every Sporting KC match day beginning eight hours before kickoff and lasting two hours after the final whistle.
To utilize MySKC Cam, download Sporting Club Uphoria on the App Store or Google Play and register an account through Facebook, Twitter or email. Those who already have Uphoria are required to download the latest app update.
In addition to enjoying MySKC Cam, Uphoria users will have access throughout the season to exclusive content, live stats and video, Sporting Park seat upgrades and Shop.SportingKC.com. Whether supporters are in attendance at the stadium or in the comfort of their own homes, Sporting Club Uphoria is the comprehensive mobile companion for every Sporting Kansas City match.
