Major League Soccer announced on April 17 that it has extended the suspension of all matches until at least June 8. As the developments surrounding COVID-19 evolve, Sporting Kansas City is working diligently with national and regional health authorities and government officials to help combat this public health crisis. Sporting Kansas City will remain flexible with all parties involved as the situation unfolds.

COVID-19 FAQ
Is the league canceled for the 2020 season?
No, the league is suspended until at least June 8. Sporting Kansas City was scheduled to host six matches since the suspension began: March 28 vs. Real Salt Lake, April 18 vs. Colorado Rapids, April 25 vs. Minnesota United, May 9 vs. Toronto FC, May 23 vs. Seattle Sounders FC and June 6 vs. Orlando City SC. At this time, MLS intends to play its full competition calendar, and has noted that the playoffs and MLS Cup can extend into December.
What if I have a ticket to the affected matches?
If you are a Season Ticket Member: Your ticket will still be honored when the matches are rescheduled. As new information on rescheduling is released from Major League Soccer, you will receive an email from your Membership Services Executive.
If you are a single-match buyer: Your ticket, too, will be honored for the rescheduled matches. The club will send an email to the SeatGeek email address used to purchase the ticket when Major League Soccer reschedules the match.
I’m a Season Ticket Member. Can I manage my account during this window?
Yes. You can manage all of the tickets on your account with the exception of the affected matches mentioned above.
I’ve already posted my tickets for resale for an affected match. What happens now?
Your tickets will remain listed for resale, but they will not be purchasable until the match is rescheduled and unhidden from the SeatGeek marketplace. Once the new event goes live, you will not need to re-list your tickets. You will also have the opportunity to take down your listing if you can then attend the match.
I’ve already transferred my tickets to one of the affected matches. What happens now?
The transferred ticket will remain live in the recipient’s SeatGeek account. He or she will be able to use said ticket to scan into the rescheduled match.
