Sporting Kansas City announced today the rebrand and official launch of the club’s events business as Argyle Events by Sporting KC . Argyle Events will now be synonymous with all events, both private and public, that take place at Sporting Kansas City venues and beyond.
The new, all-encompassing Argyle Events brand expands to better represent the wide range of personalized experiences in one-of-a-kind spaces brought to life with a talented team of professionals providing best-in-class production and hospitality services.
“Since debuting in 2013 on our jerseys, the three argyle diamonds have become an iconic brand element for Sporting both in Kansas City and in the American sports landscape,” said Sporting Kansas City Chief Operating Officer Dan Lolli. “Incorporating argyle into the brand and name of our re-imagined events business provides a direct connection for the public between the exceptional level of experience fans have come to expect with events at Children’s Mercy Park and the kinds of experiences our talented team of professionals can provide for both private and public events.”
Over the years, Sporting KC's state-of-the-art stadium, Children's Mercy Park, and world-class training facility, Compass Minerals National Performance Center, have played host to thousands of events and have created memorable experiences for event goers through full-scale conferences, holiday parties, fundraisers and graduations. Argyle Events will continue the successful booking of private events and branch out further to host large scale public events in the future.
In addition to continuing to meet the demand for both venues, Argyle Events will also now offer private events at Three Points - a rooftop event space in the Lowe & Campbell building located at 1511 Baltimore Ave. in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
“Three Points expands Argyle Events’ operations to Missouri,” said Amanda Maguire, Sporting KC’s new Vice President of Events. “With stunning views and a flexible indoor/outdoor space, we are excited to bring our hospitality excellence to the heart of downtown.”
Maguire is a recent addition to Sporting Kansas City’s executive leadership team. Previously with the New York Mets, Maguire brings expertise in event operations to the organization and will focus on attracting marquee events to Children’s Mercy Park.
“Argyle Events was created out of a pursuit of excellence and originality in everything we do, from small and intimate gatherings to large-scale events,” Maguire said. “Argyle Events is a diverse group of hospitality professionals with a shared interest in the power of connecting people to the Kansas City community through amazing food and experiences both big and small. We create the best full-service event production and food experiences in Kansas City, Major League Soccer, and beyond.”
“We are excited to evolve the branding of our events business into one identity,” said Lolli. “Argyle Events by Sporting KC is part of a forward-thinking roadmap for the future as we push to be innovators in the industry and host large-scale events that showcase the versatility of our venues and our vision for enhancing the events experience.”
