Three games. Three days. Three wins.
The Sporting Kansas City Academy U15's advanced to the semifinal stage of the 2015 US Youth Soccer National Championships by sweeping their Group A opponents this week in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The U15's now move on to play Dallas Texans 00 Red at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday at Mohawk Soccer Complex for a berth in the under-15 boys national championship.
In their opening match, the Sporting KC Academy U15's claimed a 5-2 victory over South Carolina United FC 99 Elite on Tuesday. Max Rugova and Abdu Kikhia each scored twice, while Roman Knox added the fifth goal (watch highlights).
On Wednesday, the U15's knocked off the reigning U14 national champions United FA 00 Premier with a 2-1 win (watch match). Sporting KC's youth side took an early 1-0 lead in the third minute on a United FA own goal (watch video) before John Klein scored the game-winning goal seven minutes later (watch video).
Needing a draw or win to assure their berth in the knockout round, the Sporting KC U15's wrapped up the top spot in Group A earlier today with a 2-0 victory over Region IV champions Surf Aguilar. Colin Innes and Mason Visconti provided the goals, while David Merola kept the clean sheet in net.

Kansas State Cup champions in May
and
Region II champions in June
to secure their spot at the 2015 USYS National Championships. The
