A historic matchup calls for a special match jersey.
Saturday’s showdown between Sporting Kansas City and Houston Dynamo FC will be the first full-capacity crowd at Children’s Mercy Park since March 7, 2020. To mark the occasion, Sporting will welcome 1,000 local medical professionals for the contest and a limited number of tickets remain available to the general public at SeatGeek.com.
But that's not all. When Sporting and Houston take the field on Saturday night, they will be donning the new adidas PRIMEBLUE jerseys made from Parley Ocean plastic, upcycled plastic waste intercepted on shorelines and coastal areas.
In the stands, supporters will have the opportunity to purchase the limited-edition kit at SportingStyle locations while supplies last. All fans who purchase a PRIMEBLUE jersey will also be entered to win a pair of PRIMEBLUE adidas shoes. To magnify the club’s Sporting Sustainability initiative, ticket holders will receive a sustainability bag upon exiting the stadium after the game.
Ticket holders for Saturday's game can reserve their PRIMEBLUE jerseys at SportingStyle.com by placing a pre-order as early as 10 a.m. CT on Thursday. Additionally, fans can shop the new PRIMEBLUE collection at MLSstore.com.
