Sporting Kansas City's new downtown office received the most votes in the large office category of this year's Kansas City Business Journal contest to crown "Kansas City's Coolest Office Spaces" and SKC is now up against the winners from each of the other three groups in the final round of voting.
- Group 1 (2,000 to 8,000 square feet): Preuss Foster Law
- Group 2 (10,000 to 15,000 square feet): PGAV Architects
- Group 3 (28,000 to 45,000 square feet): Sporting Kansas City
- Group 4 (100,000 or more square feet): Hill's Pet Nutrition
Voting is open online until Sunday, Nov. 24. The contest was open to all Kansas CIty companies that moved into a new office or renovated their office space in 2023 or 2024.
Sporting moved into the club's new front office earlier this year in the 3Y building at 300 Wyandotte Street in Kansas City's River Market neighborhood.
Built in 2005 for Populous Architecture, 3Y is a Class A office building owned by SomeraRoad with floor to ceiling glass windows and a rooftop patio with expansive views of downtown.
