Sporting Kansas City's affiliate club, Orlando City SC, have released their schedule (home dates pictured above) for the upcoming 2013 USL Pro season. The two clubs recently announced a multi-year partnership in which Orlando City SC will retain a minimum of four players during the USL Pro regular season.
Since joining the USL Pro division in 2011, Orlando City SC has been one of the most successful teams in the league. The Lions won the Commissioner's Cup in their inaugural season and defeated Harrisburg to win the USL Pro Championship. Orlando continued their success in USL Pro by winning the 2012 Commissioner's Cup.
Orlando will play the other twelve USL Pro teams twice and Seattle Sounders Reserve side twice during the 2013 regular season. The top eight teams in the USL Pro standings at the end of the regular season will qualify for the playoffs. The matches against Seattle are part of the new agreement between MLS and the USL Pro to restructure the MLS Reserve League.
Outside of league play, Orlando City SC will also compete in the 2013 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
