Sporting Kansas City announced today that MaXe will represent the club for the upcoming 2023 eMLS campaign.
Internationally recognized by his gamer tag MaXe, Max Popov is a 20-year-old who competes professionally for Complexity Gaming’s FIFA team.
One of the world’s best FIFA players MaXe started playing for Complexity in Nov. 2019. He then went on to win back-to-back FIFAe Club World Cups claiming the title in 2020 and 2021.
MaXe has been busy in 2022, qualifying for the FIFA 22 Global Series Master Cup and winning the FIFAe Club World Series 2022 Playoffs. In June he placed first in the FIFAe Club World Series 2022 Playoffs, punching his ticket to FIFAe Club World Cup 2022.
The 2023 eMLS Season is fast approaching with eMLS League Series One, eMLS League Series Two and eMLS Cup on the horizon. MaXe will make his eMLS debut at those competitions and represent Sporting KC at all 2023 eMLS events.
