Sporting Kansas City has confirmed jersey number updates for six players heading into the 2024 MLS season with four new arrivals joining the club and two returnees making switches from 2023.
Daniel Salloi becomes the club's new No. 10 - after previously wearing #30 from 2016-17 and #20 from 2018-2023 -- following the departure of Gadi Kinda in the offseason. Salloi recorded a team-high 22 goal contributions (10 goals, 12 assists) in all competitions in 2023 and his 58 goals in all competitions are fourth most in club history.
In addition, MLS SuperDraft 2023 selection Chris Rindov has selected No. 28 for his second professional season. The centerback made his MLS debut on April 22, 2023 at New England as a second-half substitute and made his first start for the club on May 10, 2023 during the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
Sporting Kansas City's roster is augmented by the acquisition of four new players in 2024 with veteran MLS midfielder Memo Rodriguez, Sporting KC II product Alenis Vargas, Canadian left back Zorhan Bassong and rookie goalkeeper Ryan Schewe.

Led by Manager Peter Vermes and captain Johnny Russell, Sporting will kick off the team’s highly anticipated 2024 season in Houston against the reigning U.S. Open Cup champions on Saturday, Feb. 24 during MLS is Back opening weekend. Sporting’s home opener arrives one week later on Saturday, March 2 against perennial Eastern Conference powers Philadelphia Union.

In addition, single-match tickets for Sporting Kansas City's home matches in March, April and May are now on sale. College students can also secure $15 tickets to the club’s first three home matches in March with the return of the popular Sporting U Pass in 2024.
