Sporting Kansas City will celebrate Retro Night on Sunday, May 27, when the club hosts Columbus Crew SC at Children's Mercy Park. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. CT and tickets are available via SeatGeek.com as Kansas City's professional soccer team pays homage to its proud roots in a comprehensive throwback experience.
At the forefront, the new retro jersey — featuring rainbow sleeve details and an "Oh When the Wiz" jock tag — will be on sale at every SportingStyle location in the stadium. The first 10,000 fans through the stadium gates will also receive a retro jersey koozie courtesy of match sponsor Vision Source.
As part of the Retro Night celebration, supporters will enjoy 90s music during pregame and throwback videoboard graphics that harken back to the club's days at Arrowhead Stadium. A special guest will lead the "I Believe That We Will Win" chant just before kickoff, and the annual Sporting KC Media Game will take place at halftime in an old school MLS shootout format.

Sporting KC currently sits atop the MLS Supporters' Shield standings with a 7-2-2 record. Manager Peter Vermes' men have scored a league-best 23 goals and also rank first with five shutouts and a plus-11 goal differential.
