The third and fourth rounds of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas will take place Sunday at 1 p.m. CT via conference call. Sporting Kansas City holds two fourth-round picks at No. 75 and No. 82 overall.
On Friday, Sporting KC selected Butler University goalkeeper Eric Dick (No. 13 overall) and University of Denver defender Graham Smith (No. 18 overall) in the first round of the SuperDraft.
Dick and Smith will join Sporting KC on Monday for the first leg of the club’s 2018 preseason, presented by Children’s Mercy. Manager Peter Vermes’ men will train in Scottsdale, Arizona before returning to Kansas City on Feb. 3. The club will then venture back to Arizona from Feb. 9-25 for the Mobile Mini Sun Cup in Tucson.
