MLS NEXT Pro today unveiled Sporting Kansas City II’s inaugural MLS NEXT Pro regular season schedule, which will kick off Sunday, March 27 at Colorado Rapids 2, and have SKC II travel to Minnesota on Sunday, April 3 before the club makes its debut at Rock Chalk Park on Sunday, April 10 against Houston Dynamo 2. All MLS NEXT Pro matches will be streamed live on www.mlsnextpro.com.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets at SeatGeek.com at a later date. Those who are interested in being the first to know when SKC II tickets are available can fill out this form here. Tickets will be $15 for a reserved seat, $10 for general admission and $5 for students who show a valid student ID at the door. Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members will receive complimentary tickets to all SKC II matches upon request.
Sporting KC II will compete in 24 regular season matches in the Frontier Division of the Western Conference. They will play each divisional team two to three times and all other conference teams at least twice. SKC II will not face any Eastern Conference opponents in the 2022 regular season.

The MLS NEXT Pro season culminates in an eight-team playoff at the end of the season. The top team from each division is an automatic qualifier for the playoffs, and the two teams with the next most points in each conference also earn a spot. More information about the playoff format and schedule will be announced at a later date.
Head coach Benny Feilhaber and assistant coach Ike Opara, both 2013 MLS Cup winners, lead Sporting KC II into a new era. After six years in the USL Championship, MLS NEXT Pro presents SKC II with new opportunities and challenges. With MLS NEXT Pro bridging the gap between MLS and MLS NEXT, the pro-player pathway will be showcased as the Sporting KC II roster will feature top Sporting KC Academy prospects, as well as players on loan from Sporting KC.
